Balancing Valve Group
Optimum balance and efficiency in your heating systems with Danfoss balancing valves.

Floras Engineering delivers technical solutions tailored to your project needs with Danfoss.
Hydraulic balancing is a critical engineering process that ensures the designed flow rate is delivered to every circuit in a heating or cooling system. In unbalanced systems, some circuits receive too much and others too little flow, leading to comfort problems and energy waste. Floras Engineering provides project-specific hydraulic balancing solutions with Danfoss's world-standard balancing valve products.
Danfoss AB-QM and AB-PM pressure-independent combined regulator valves provide constant flow control independent of differential pressure changes, so that each circuit receives its design flow rate even when pump speed changes. The ASV and MSV series used as manual balancing valves offer precise pre-setting capability.
We carry out balancing applications in all hydronic systems including radiator circuits, fan-coil groups, hydronic underfloor heating collectors, cooling plant circuits and primary-secondary circuit separation. Before project handover, flow measurement is performed to verify that the system reaches design values, and energy savings and comfort improvements are documented.
In a hydraulically balanced system, pump energy consumption can be reduced by 20–30% and heating/cooling energy consumption by 15–25%.
