Hydronic underfloor heating distributes heat evenly from the floor to the entire surface, creating a much more comfortable and healthy living environment than radiator systems. Floras Engineering works as an authorized application partner of Fraenkische, Germany's leading manufacturer of pipe and system components.
The high flexibility of Fraenkische PEX-a and PE-RT pipes enables easy installation with minimum connection points, reducing the risk of leakage to zero. The pipes are embedded in the floor and operate at low water temperatures of 30–45°C, providing an excellent energy efficiency combination with heat pumps and condensing boilers.
During the application process, a heat loss calculation is first performed on the building, then a pipe routing plan is prepared, and the number of circuits and flow rates are calculated for optimum comfort. Collectors, manifolds, thermostatic actuators and room thermostats are commissioned in an integrated manner. We have application references across a wide range from residential apartments to shopping centers, hotels and hospitals to industrial floors.
Maintenance costs throughout the system's lifetime are extremely low; with correct application, a service life exceeding 50 years is expected.
